Fall 2018 Highlight #1--New York Textile Month

The Jefferson Textile Design Programs were honored to participate in New York Textile Month in September 2018.  We held a Textile Design Showcase at the lovely showroom of Lori Weitzner in New York City.  Alum Jessica Thies, of Lori Weitzner's studio, was instrumental in partnering with us for the event.  The work of recent alums--Oluwabusola Duroshola (MSTD), Drew McKevitt (MSTD), Nina Nickerson (BSTD) and Marjorie Bertrand (BSTD)--was featured.  We welcomed industry guests, prospective students, current students, alumni and interested members of the public to the pop-up exhibition.  Please see a few images here below.  Thank you to our wonderful alumni for sharing their work and to Lori and Jess for their amazing sharing of their studio.
