Jefferson Textile Designers take Top Prizes in Virginia Jackson Design Competition

Jefferson Textile Design students once again were awarded top prizes in the International Textile Alliance Virginia Jackson Design Competition.  For this competition, students created original textiles for interiors in dobby woven, jacquard woven and print categories.  Congratulations to Jiyoung Park, MS Textile Design, for her First Place Awards in Dobby and Jacquard!  Congratulations to Jessica Butler, BS Textile Design, for her Second Place Award in Jacquard!  Congratulations to Emily Reppert, MS Textile Design, for her Second Place Award in Dobby and her Honorable Mention in Jacquard!  The winning designs were displayed at Showtime in Highpoint, NC; the most important home furnishings Textile Design show in the country.  Please see the images below of this award winning work.
